In this performance just ten days before the 2008 Presidential Election, The Capitol Steps “put the mock in democracy!” A group of former Capitol Hill staffers, the Steps satirize the very people and places that once employed them, digging into current events to create skits and songs conveying a special brand of humor. Constantly updated to reflect issues of the day, the show will include parodies such as “Addicted to Oil,” “Obama Meets Osama,” “But We Only Have McCain,” "Hillary Survive,” and "This Land’s Not Your Land.” No matter who's in the headlines, the Capitol Steps are equal opportunity offenders.
