Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar follows the epic rise and fall of a notorious leader through the moral and political dilemma of Marcus Brutus. Should Brutus conspire in the assassination of his trusted friend Caesar, or allow one man’s ambition to overcome Rome’s founding ideals? With excellent acting, crystalline verse-speaking, original music, and innovative design, Aquila asks the audience to consider the price of democracy and freedom -- and the consequences that can befall a society when asked to defend its core beliefs.
