Membership is Paramount!

Paramount members are crucial to everything that goes on at The Paramount Theater. Membership contributions help us present the best in music, drama, comedy, and dance, and they allow us to offer reduced-price performances and programs to Central Virginia's students -- the future of our region. Annual memberships are available at the following levels:

Leadership Circle ($25,000+)
Producer Circle ($10,000+)
Benefactor Circle ($5,000+)
Principal Circle ($2,500+)
Star Circle ($1,000+)

Director ($500+)
Performer ($275+)
Contributor ($150+)
Associate ($75+)

As a member, you will enjoy benefits and privileges sure to enrich your performing arts experience. All members can purchase tickets to Paramount Presents performances before the general public (members giving $1,000 or more may buy in advance of all other members). This year, we are pleased to offer access to our Founders Lounge for our most generous annual supporters.

For an Associate membership contribution ($75+), you will receive:

Personalized Membership Card with online purchasing instructions
Paramount marquee window decal
Advance notice of upcoming events; season brochures
Invitation to season "Sneak Peak" event
Behind-the-scenes tour of The Paramount
Purchase tickets in advance of the general public
Benefit Value: $6; Tax Deductible Portion: $69

$75 covers the printing costs for one large Paramount advertising poster. Thank you!

For a Contributor membership contribution ($150+), you will receive all benefits for preceding contribution level, PLUS:

One year's subscription to albemarle magazine
Your generosity recognized in The Paramount show programs
Benefit Value: $17; Tax Deductible Portion: $133

$150 helps pay for The Paramount's increased postage costs. Thank you!

For a Performer membership contribution ($275+), you will receive all benefits for preceding contribution levels, PLUS:

Concession coupon for four (4) complimentary soft drinks
Benefit Value: $27; Tax Deductible Portion: $248

$275 provides an audio enhancement device for hearing-impaired patrons. Thank you!

For a Director membership contribution ($500+), you will receive all benefits for preceding contribution levels, PLUS:

Priority waiting list privileges
Benefit Value: $27; Tax Deductible Portion: $473

$500 pays royalty fees for one artist to perform copyrighted music. Thank you!

For a Star Circle membership contribution ($1,000+), you will receive all benefits for preceding contribution levels, PLUS:

Purchase tickets in advance of other members and public
Ticket exchange privileges (up to 48 hours before show)
Special events with artists (when available)
Season access to Founders Lounge
Benefit value: $33; Tax Deductible Portion: $967

$1,000 pays the cost of showing a movie to 500 viewers. Thank you!

For a Principal Circle membership contribution ($2,500+), you will receive all benefits for preceding contribution levels, PLUS:

Concierge Ticket Service
Recognition on Membership Wall of Honor in theater entrance
25% space rental discount (excludes auditorium; limited to one-time discount and subject to availability)
Benefit value: $158; Tax Deductible Portion: $2,342

$2,500 underwrites half the cost of a Paramount educational program. Thank you!

For a Benefactor Circle membership contribution ($5,000+), you will receive all benefits for preceding contribution levels, PLUS:

50% space rental discount (excludes auditorium; limited to one-time discount and subject to availability)
Benefit value: $289; Tax Deductible Portion: $4,711

$5,000 covers the typical costs to provide staff, lighting, and sound for a concert. Thank you!

For a Producer Circle membership contribution ($10,000+), you will receive all benefits for preceding contribution levels, PLUS:

75% space rental discount (excludes auditorium; limited to one-time discount and subject to availability)
Reserved house seats
Reserved parking
Benefit value: $414; Tax Deductible Portion: $9,586

$10,000 keeps the marquee lit, the stage lights on, and the theater comfortable for our performers and audiences.. for one month. Thank you!

For a Leadership Circle membership contribution ($25,000+), you will receive all benefits for preceding contribution levels, PLUS:

FREE space rental (excludes auditorium; limited to one-time discount and subject to availability)
Recognition as Leadership Circle sponsor of one Paramount show
Benefit value: $545; Tax Deductible Portion: $24,455

$25,000 helps The Paramount pay part of the fee to bring a nationally-known performing artist to central Virginia. Thank you!
