2005-2006 Season On Sale to Members July 25

Tickets for all shows in The Paramount Theater's 2005-06 Season will go on sale to Paramount Theater Members on Monday, July 25. The forthcoming 46-event schedule offers performances by cellist Yo Yo Ma with the Silk Road Ensemble, country crooner Vince Gill, classic comedian Bill Cosby, legendary flutist Sir James Galway, and folk great Arlo Guthrie. The season, which kicks off on September 10 with record-breaking chart toppers Daryl Hall & John Oates, runs through May 2006, and includes a variety of music, comedy, Broadway, dance, and family programs.

Members of The Paramount Theater may take advantage of an early on-sale period from Monday, July 25 through Sunday, August 14. Annual Paramount Theater Memberships start at $50 ($40 for seniors), and entitle the Member to early purchasing for any and all performances in the season. Anyone who wishes to take advantage of this advance ticket purchasing may contact The Paramount's administrative office at 434.979.1922 or members@theparamount.net, or join when purchasing tickets.

Paramount tickets may be ordered in a variety of ways. Beginning on July 25, secure online orders may be placed here at The Paramount's web site, www.theparamount.net. The theater's box office will also accept orders by phone (434.979.1333) or fax (434.979.1444), and ticket requests may be sent by mail to The Paramount Theater, PO Box 2309, Charlottesville, VA 22902.

Ticket sales for the 2005-06 Season will open to the general public on Monday, August 15. Hours for The Paramount's Box Office during both on-sale periods are 10 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday. Orders which are received after closing will be processed during the next business day. Ticket requests will be filled in the order in which they are received, with the best-available seats being issued on a first-come, first-served basis. All sales are final.
