Continuing the theater’s participation in First Fridays, The Paramount is hosting an exhibit featuring the work of local photographer Dain Renick. Renick employs his engaging photographic style on a wide variety of subjects, crafting work that invites the viewer to imagine an alluring narrative behind his images.

Renick’s Paramount exhibit will open on Friday, August 1 at 5 pm, and will be installed in the theater’s ballroom (on the ground level adjacent to the grand lobby) for the month of August.
Ten percent of sales from the exhibit will be donated to the Snow Leopard Conservancy, which works with Central Asian communities to foster stewardship of endangered snow leopards in their habitat.

Trained in writing and photography at Boston's Emerson College, Renick is a member of the Ilford Ilfopro Photographer’s Association and the Luminos Printmaker’s Guild. He has received the Award of Excellence from Photographer’s Forum Magazine for three consecutive years.
His photography has been exhibited in New York at the Bellport Lane Art Gallery, North Shore Art Guild, Coe Estate/Planting Fields Arboretum, Mills Pond House Gallery, and Near and Far Art Gallery, and locally at Play On Theater.
As stated on his website, “Renick’s style of photographic imagery is intimate, evocative and romantic ... Proving himself a true luminarist, Dain’s passion and dedication to his art is evident in each carefully crafted image he creates. He considers his work as a way for him to connect with, respect, and honor his Muses.”
The First Fridays Exhibit featuring the work of Dain Renick will be open on August 1 from 5 to 7 pm. Admission is free.
