Get ready for an unforgettable evening filled with recognition, empowerment, and community—because every girl deserves to be celebrated!

The purpose of the HER SPORTS AWARDS is to acknowledge the accomplishments of local female athletes and coaches in Charlottesville and surrounding counties through community nominations and voting. This is important to help spread the mission of HER SPORTS, in hopes of breaking the gender stereotypes and increasing overall support and engagement that will inspire girls and women to be active through sport participation. HER SPORTS will also take this day to thank individuals and organizations who have been striving for equal representation of women and girls in sports.
