Step into a world of magic and wonder with Charlottesville Ballet’s A Fairy Tale Gathering™!

Treat your little ones to a charming experience filled with dance, storytelling, and imagination in this original 45-minute narrated ballet, created by Co-Founder and UVA alumna Emily Hartka.

Join the Fairy Godmother as she hosts a whimsical tea party where fairy tale characters come to life through music and movement. Follow Cinderella as she dreams of the royal ball, help the Prince awaken Sleeping Beauty, and keep an eye out for beloved friends like Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood, the Sugar Plum Fairy, and more!

Perfect for young audiences, this family-friendly performance is a joyful introduction to the magic of ballet. After the performance, step into a storybook world at the “Fairy Tale Tea Party”—an enchanting on-stage experience designed for children ages 3-10. Young guests will delight in dancing with Charlottesville Ballet’s professional artists, posing for magical photo moments, and enjoying a selection of royal refreshments fit for little princes and princesses.
