Did you know?

  • During production, the animators were given no instructions for coloring. Walt Disney instructed them to use any colors they wanted, which was a first.
  • At 124 minutes in length, this is the longest Disney animated feature.
  • “Ave Maria” is the only piece in the film to feature vocals. All others are strictly instrumental.
